Part 1: The North & Cultural Triangle (Days 1–6)
Day 1 — Arrival → Negombo
Your driver meets you at Colombo airport. Relax in Negombo after your flight.

Day 2 — Negombo → Anuradhapura
Drive north to Anuradhapura — Sri Lanka's first great kingdom. Visit the sacred Sri Maha Bodhi, Ruwanwelisaya, and Jetavanaramaya.

Day 3 — Anuradhapura → Jaffna
Drive further north to Jaffna — the cultural heart of Sri Lankan Tamil civilisation. Visit the magnificent Nallur Kandaswamy Temple and explore the Dutch Fort of Jaffna.

Day 4 — Jaffna Full Day
Explore Nagadeepa Temple (sacred Buddhist island), Jaffna Lagoon, and the Jaffna Public Library (a symbol of cultural resilience). Taste authentic Jaffna crab curry and dosa.

Day 5 — Jaffna → Mihintale → Sigiriya
Drive south back through Anuradhapura province. Stop at Mihintale — the sacred mountain where Buddhism arrived in Sri Lanka. Continue to Sigiriya for the evening.

Day 6 — Sigiriya Lion Rock & Dambulla
Climb the legendary Sigiriya Lion Rock in the morning — UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the Pidurangala Rock at sunset for a different perspective. In between, explore the Dambulla Golden Cave Temple.

Part 2: East Coast via Polonnaruwa (Days 7–8)
Day 7 — Sigiriya → Polonnaruwa → East Coast
Visit the ancient city of Polonnaruwa — the medieval capital with the stunning Gal Vihara Buddha rock carvings. Then drive east to the coast — Trincomalee or Nilaveli.

Day 8 — East Coast Full Day
Boat ride to Pigeon Island National Park — snorkelling with sea turtles and vibrant coral. Visit the ancient Koneswaram Temple on the cliff and the hot springs of Kanniya.

Part 3: Kandy & Hill Country (Days 9–12)
Day 9 — East Coast → Kandy
Drive west from the east coast into the hills to Kandy — Sri Lanka's cultural capital. Arrive by late afternoon.

Day 10 — Kandy Full Day
Visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, a spice garden, and the Ceylon Tea Museum. Evening Kandyan Cultural Dance Show.

Day 11 — Kandy → Nuwara Eliya
Drive up into the tea country to Nuwara Eliya ("Little England"). Stop at Ramboda Waterfall and a tea factory for a tasting.

Day 12 — Horton Plains National Park
Trek to World's End — a 1,000-metre sheer drop through misty cloud forests. Visit Baker's Falls. Afternoon free to explore Nuwara Eliya town and Gregory Lake.

Part 4: Ella & Safari Country (Days 13–15)
Day 13 — Scenic Train → Ella
Board the famous scenic train from Nanu-Oya to Ella — 4 hours through tea plantations and misty valleys. Hike to Little Adam's Peak and visit the Nine Arch Bridge.

Day 14 — Ella → Udawalawe
Drive south stopping at Ravana Falls. Afternoon elephant safari in Udawalawe National Park — over 250 wild elephants.

Day 15 — Udawalawe → Yala → Beach
Morning safari. Then drive to Yala National Park for a pre-dawn leopard safari. After lunch, head west to the south coast Galle Fort and your beach resort.

Part 5: South Coast & Beach Relaxation (Days 16–20)
Day 16 — Galle Fort Full Day
Explore the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort — Dutch colonial streets, lighthouse, museum, and ramparts. Take a Sri Lankan cooking class.

Day 17 — Beach Relaxation Day
